“Sam” Davona Lenae Hamilton passed away January 26th, 2020 at the age of 57.
Sam is Preceded in death by her mother, Mabel Lucille Stites; and sister, Charlene Stanfill.
Sam is survived by her loving and dear husband, Edward Hamilton Jr., of 14 years. Sam is survived by her father, L.C. Burfield and wife, Gladys. Sam is lovingly remembered by her children; Daughters: Brittany Kingery and her husband Kasey Kingery; Victoria DeChelle Paxson; and Shalena Anne Heller. Grandchildren: Karl, Danny , and Emmaline Kingery; Kamrie and Korbyn Clakely; Emily, Landon, and Mason Heller. Brother Larry Jones and wife Pam. Sisters: Darlene Burfield; Vicky Sowell and husband Kit. Sam will also be lovingly remembered by dear, and close friend Jeff McCluskey, and his wonderful family.
Sam, was born in Stanford, Texas on June 23rd 1962 to L.C. and Lucy Burfield. She grew up around Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from Azle High in 1980. Sam was a homemaker. She loved to cook, and was great at it. Her passion for life was shown through her laughter and the most beautiful smile. She had the biggest personality, and lit up every room she walked into. Sam was a strong and loving mother and wife. She enjoyed going to church and will be sincerely missed by her church family. Sam was a mother to everyone and never left anyone out. She will be truly missed.
The service of remembrance will be held at Davis-Morris Funeral Home, 800 Center Ave, Brownwood, TX 76801, on February 1st, 2020, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Briar Hall officiating.
