The Texas State Comptroller’s office released sales tax revenue information and allocations for the month of January 2010 for cities across the state.
The allocations for January are a little mixed again for this month as some Brown County cities saw an increase while others dropped off a bit.
Brownwood’s first allocation of the year showed a drop of more than 10% as compared to January of last year with Bangs also showing a decrease.
Early had an increase in their January allocation by more than 7% with a nice increase for Blanket as well.
