RunForTheirLivesLogoThe 5K “Run for Their Lives” is the first ever run to benefit the Central Texas Pregnancy Care Center and it will be held this Saturday, April 16 at Riverside Park.  It is hoped that this will lead to other larger events for the CTPCC.

The event will consist of three races, beginning at noon with the 5K.  This will be followed by a 1 mile run for elementary school children and then a two mile event will begin for strollers.  There will also be an obstacle course for the kids.

Registration costs $25 per person or a family pack is available at reduced costs for the entire family participating.  Those registered may pick up packets and T-shirts beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday.   The proceeds from the event will help fund the Central Texas Pregnancy Care Center, aiding in their cause.

Prizes and cash awards will be given to the first three male and female runners that finish the 5K run.  Ribbons will be awarded to elementary fun run winners.

To register for the event, visit www.pccbrownwood.com, or contact Terri Medlock or Jamie Cornelius at (325) 646-5433. Registration forms can also be mailed to Pregnancy Care Center, 2222 Hwy. 377S no. 5, Brownwood, Texas, 76801.

A barbecue sandwich lunch will be available with snacks and drinks from noon to 3 p.m.  So come out this Saturday to support the Central Texas Pregnancy Care Center plus enjoy some good exercise and good food too.
