Ruby Jean Creel moved from her earthly home to her mansion in Heaven on November 10, 2017. Surely she is dancing at the feet of Jesus as she joins the love of her life who was waiting for her there. Jean was a faithful companion for 69 years and she was a big part of their ministry in many ways including being a great prayer warrior. All of the family called upon her whether it was Mom, Memaw, Aunt, or the entire extended family for they had great faith in her direct line to God. For those of you who knew her, she was somewhat of a shy woman except when it came to worshipping her Lord and Savior. Jean was born July 2, 1926, in Rowena Texas to Eugene Aubrey Lancaster and Mary Vassie Horton Lancaster. She married Alfred Lloyd Creel on June 17, 1946, when he returned from serving in the military. Jean was a homemaker for the majority of her married life and an amazing mother to her four children that she had prayed for, and God honored her prayers. She is survived by two sons, Wayne and Peggy Creel of Early and Gary and Debora Creel of Burton; two daughters, Sandra and Larry Collom of Ira and Sherry and Freddy Pipes of Jacksonville, six grandchildren, Donald Hurst of Ohio, Tonya and Harry Rossmoine of San Antonio, Alicia and Derrick Stacks of Belton, Tabitha and Clint Schwarz of Weatherford, Charisse and Clint Sneddeker of Frisco, and Chana and Joe Navarro of Florida; 15 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren; Cody and Candace Fedler and son, Skip; Jaclyn and Jacob Fernandez and daughter, Juliette; Melisa and Jake Butler and son, James; Justin Hurst; Braeden, Grant and Ashlyn Stacks; Brooke, Kassidy and Lainey Schwarz; Hudson Sneddeker; Lainey, Kynlee, Lilliana, and Charli Navarro; And one sister, Patsy McDaniel of New Braunfels; and many other relatives and friends.
All that she built her life upon and believed in, she is now enjoying.
Heaven, Jesus, family gone ahead, departed friends and all the unspeakable wonders awaiting a child of God are now hers for eternity.
A celebration of life will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the Freedom Fellowship Church with Pastor Jim Maxwell officiating. Interment will follow in Eastlawn Memorial Park under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home.
