Ruby Ellen Neill, 68 of Brownwood went to be with her Lord on Sunday, June 30, 2019 surrounded by her family.

A visitation will be Friday, July 5, 2019 from 6-8 pm at Heartland Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 10 am Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Heartland Funeral Chapel in Early with interment following at Eastlawn Memorial Park.

Ruby was born Monday, August 7, 1950 in Raleigh, West Virginia to Ross Howe and Peggy Rogers. Ruby was blessed with 3 children, Ross, Michelle and Jennifer. She was married to the love of her life David Allen for almost 35 years before his passing. As a young women, Ruby enjoyed working as a waitress for many years. She was an avid Elvis and Nascar fan and occasionally enjoyed fishing and watching her favorite TV shows, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and adored her grandchildren.

Ruby is survived by her son, Ross and wife Paula Carter of San Antonio; 2 daughters, Michelle Carter and Jennifer Trowbridge of Brownwood; step­-daughters, Teresa Estes, Stephanie Skinner and Laura Dansby; step-son, DJ Allen all of San Angelo; brother, William Howe of San Angelo; sisters, Sharon Howe of Big Spring, Karen Meeks and husband Chris of San Antonio, Cindy Brown and husband Bobby of Odessa, Pamela Howe of Brownwood; best friend, Belinda Wiedebusch; grandchildren, Shawn White of Philadelphia, Casey White of Brownwood, Jacob Womack of Colorado, Annastasia Womack and fiance Darian of Sonora, Paige Jones and husband Craig of Red Oak, Ross Carter of Brownwood, Brittanie Upton of San Antonio, Waylon and Korrina Carter of San Antonio, Korena and Stephen Mills, Richie
Dickinson, Robin Allen, Cheyenne, Ashton, Kaliegh and Cassie Dansby, Jasper and Aiden Allen all of San Angelo, Mynda Wheeless of Brownwood, Kyndra Bullard and husband Ian of Clyde and Darline Foster of Abilene;  great-grandchildren, Jocelyn White, Mikayla, Brooklynn and Noah Jones, Brynzlei Prosise, Braylee Foster, Adalynn and Abbagail Lamb.

Ruby is preceded in death by the love of her life, David Allen, her parents, Ross and Peggy Howe; sister, Lauretta Howe; nephew, Brandon Worth and grandson, Roland Dickinson.
