Roy Joseph “Yamahauler” Eash, Jr, 62, of Brownwood, passed away on Monday, November 16, 2009, surrounded by loved ones at his home in Brownwood.

Visitation will be held from 8 am to 5 pm on Thursday, November 19, at Heartland Funeral Home.
Roy Joseph Eash Jr., was born on March 26, 1947, in Vicksburg, Mississippi to Roy and Rena Marie Cook Eash. He attended school in Peoria Illinois and joined the United States Army in 1964. He served in Germany with the 8th Airborne Infantry and Stateside with the 82nd Airborne Infantry.
On January 3, 2001, he married Loretta H. Beck in Las Vegas Nevada and together, they made their home in Brownwood for the last 9 years.

Mr. Eash was with the Railroad for 10 years and retired as a long haul trucker, logging over 2 million safe accident free miles. He enjoyed motorcycle racing, fishing and woodwork. The things that mattered most to him were God, Family and his best buds, Casey and Lacey.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Loretta Eash, of Brownwood; children, Tabatha Lynn Hudson and husband Terry, of Greenville, Texas, Dawn Leanne Tucker and husband Jeff, and Roy J. Eash III, all of Peoria Illinois, and Alberta Nickole Clark of Tulsa Oklahoma; brother Steve Eash and wife Barbara, of Hopewell, Illinois; sisters, Judy Brewer and husband Jim, of Bullhead City Arizona and Grace Hill and husband Charles, of Texarkana Texas. He is also survived by stepchildren, Michael Hower and wife Jeannie, of Brownwood, Edward Hatfield and wife Nanette, of Brownwood and Rosie Godinez and husband Hector of San Diego, CA;25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a host of very special friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rena Marie and Roy Joseph Eash Sr., and daughter, Kimberlea Johanna Eash.

In lieu of flowers donations are requested to be made in memory of Mr. Eash to the local SPCA in your area.
