Third-grade students at Northwest Elementary were recently presented with dictionaries courtesy of the Brownwood Rotary Club. Local Rotarians, Dion White and James Barns, visited the campus and handed out the dictionaries to each student before explaining the features of the book and having them attempt to find the largest word in the dictionary.
Northwest Elementary was just one stop for the Rotarians who, each year, aim to supply dictionaries to every third-grader in Brown County.
