Artisans and crafters from Brownwood and all over Texas will participate in the Rotary Club Arts and Crafts Fair. It will feature unique and hand-made arts and crafts.
Some of last year’s popular vendors included hand-made jewelry, wrought iron and metal sculptures, goat’s milk soap and lotion and custom-made floral arrangements.
The show will run Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 11 AM to 4 PM so it is the perfect opportunity to do a little Christmas shopping. Admission is $2 per person and includes one GRAND PRIZE drawing ticket.
The show is being held at the Brownwood Coliseum located at 500 E. Baker (Corner of Baker and Carnegie) in downtown Brownwood.
Proceeds from the event will go the Brownwood Rotary Club, a local service organization.
The Rotary Club sponsors a youth each year to attend RYLA, a Rotary week-long leadership-training program, and participate in quarterly blood drives here in Brownwood. They provide 500 dictionaries to all 3rd graders in Brown County as well.
Each month, during the school year, they also recognize a high school senior from Brownwood ISD and Early ISD as Student Rotarian of the Month. In May, they presented two $1,000 scholarships and four $500 scholarships to high school seniors.
