Funeral Services for Rose Shannon, age 80, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 3:00 PM Monday, August 11, 2014 at the Elkins Cemetery under the direction of the Heartland Funeral Home in Early. Mrs. Shannon passed away Thursday, August 7, 2014 in the San Angelo Community Medical Center.
Rose Marie was born on April 13, 1934 in San Angelo, Texas to James Henry and Corine Marie Masters Nason. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Wayne Shannon, grandson Jason Carter.
Survivors include her daughter Cathy Carter, sister Barbara Worley of Brownwood, one grandson, five granddaughters and numerous other family members.Friends are invited to sign the guestbook at www.heartlandfuneralhome.net
