Rose Betty Rogers was born on October 15, 1941 in Pampa, Texas to Rufus Pierce and Viola Stembridge Pierce. On, June 14, 1975 she was married to John Rogers in Brownwood. Mrs. Rogers had been a resident of Valley View since 2003 where she attended the Christian Gathering and Senior Citizen Center.
Survivors include her husband John Rogers of Valley View; children Mark S. Ballard and wife Martha of Ardmore, Oklahoma, Rhonda Y. Page and husband Brian of Hastings, Minnesota, Ivan D. Ballard and wife Kathryn of Bryan, Texas, Gary L. Pierson of Fort Worth, Texas and Lisa G. Parrish and husband Gary of Blue Mound, Texas; 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; one sister Mona Ramsey and husband Jimmy of Brownwood, Texas. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her father Rufus Pierce, mother Viola Curry, step father Odie Curry, sister Linda Stembridge and her brother Raymond Pierce.
