Ronnie Wayne Merrifield, II was born on March 6, 1963, in Big Lake, Texas. He passed away on Thursday, March 9, 2017 in San Antonio, Texas.
Ronnie served as a Sergeant in the United States Air Force for 8 years. During his service he worked on missile and munitions testing, maintenance and equipment operations. He served in Spain and at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga. Ronnie was an avid hunter and fisherman. He loved spending as much time outdoors as possible.
Ron is survived by his father, Ronnie Wayne Merrifield I and his wife Evelyn of Brownwood; mother, Mary Perkins and husband Chuck of Onalaska Texas; sister, Tracey Merrifield of Onalaska, Texas; son, Ronnie Wayne Merrifield III and wife Danyelle of Stephenville; daughters, Stephanie Merrifield of California, Kimberly Garza and husband Anthony of Brownwood; nephews, Justin and Cooper Eoff. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, grandchildren, and many friends.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Austin and Ruby Armstrong, Odie and Francis Merrifield; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Graveside Services for Ronnie Merrifield II will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Mt View Cemetery in Coleman. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home. Online condolences for the family are welcome at www.blaylockfuneralhome.com.
