RonnieFowlerRonald Edgar Fowler passed away October 30, 2010 at Brownwood Regional Medical Center, after a short illness. He leaves behind his wife, Barbara Blanton Fowler; his daughter, Summer Huggins, and her husband, Cole; step-children Michelle Hopkins, and Jason Hopkins and wife, Rebekah; grandchildren, Amanda, Aaron, Alex and Brittany; and step-sons Terry Bullion and Tim Bullion.

Ron was born in Norfolk, Virginia on February 8, 1949, alongside his twin brother, Don, to B.J. and Noma Lee Fowler. He joined sister, Shirley, now Fragua, and later welcomed sister, Noma, now Fowler-Sandlin. He is survived by all of them, except his father, who preceded him in death by 4 months, and 15 days. He also leaves behind a large and loving extended family, and many friends.

Ronnie grew up in Virginia, California, and Texas, in Kingsville, Corpus Christi, and Brownwood. He graduated from Brownwood High School in 1967 where he excelled at football. He was a master plumber, employed by Heart of Texas Mechanical, and when not working, enjoyed fishing, hunting, and riding his Harley.

Graveside services will be held at Clear Creek Cemetery near Bangs, on Monday, November 1, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. under the direction of Heartland Funeral Home.
