A memorial Service for Ronald Dean Phillips, age 74, of Rising Star, Texas will be held 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at the Heartland Funeral Home. He passed away Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Rising Star Nursing Home.
Mr. Phillips was born on July 19, 1937 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Oscar and Ella Rodgers Phillips. He was married to Shirley Geist in Dallas, Texas. Mr. Phillips was a Texas Rangers Fan, retired truck driver, served in the National guard and had lived in Big Spring prior to moving to Rising Star.

Julie Cooper and husband Kerry of Dayton, Ohio
Roger Phillips and wife Trish of Cross Plains, Texas
Cindy Florez and husband Johnnie of Carrollton, Texas
Danielle Moya of Dallas, Texas
Brother: Jack Phillips of Medford, Oregon
10 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother, Leonard Phillips.
