Brown County first responders were called to the scene of a one vehicle rollover late Thursday morning which resulted in one female being transported to the hospital.
The accident scene was approximately 1.5 miles south of Bangs in the 1900 block of FM 586 South. The vehicle was upside down when it came to a stop. Pictured above is the vehicle after it had been turned upright to load onto a tow truck.
Texas Department of Public Safety Trooper Michael Sams is investigating the crash which occurred at approximately 11:20 a.m. Thursday. The cause according to Sams may be contributed to the driver taking the curve too fast, the tire catching the edge of the road and causing the vehicle to lose control and roll.
The female driver, according to Sams, appeared to have non-lifethreatening injuries; however, did appear to have a possible shoulder injury. She was transported to Brownwood Regional Medical center by ambulance for evaluation and treatment of her injuries.
DPS, Bangs Volunteer Fire Department, Brownwood Fire Department, Brown County Sheriff’s Office and Guardian EMS responded to the scene of the accident.
