The Brownwood High School Lady Lions golf team traveled to San Angelo on Thursday for the girls to play at the Quicksand Golf Course.
According to their head coach Laura Martin, it was a good course and good day for the Lady Lions with Sydney Roberts taking first place by shooting a 91 and the team taking first as well.
“It was a great day, low 80’s wind 20-25 mph maybe a little gusty. All of the girls struggled with the large amount bunkers on the course,” said Martin. “Sydney Roberts shot a 91 to get first place medalist and the Lady Lions were first place team with 455. Sierra Yancey shot a 106, Audrey McKillip a 128, and Krista Fragua a 130.”Team Scores scores were as follows:
