Robert Lee Williams, age 76, of Brownwood, passed away Saturday, November 14, 2015.  A grave side service was held Monday, November 16, 2015 at Heflin Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.

Robert was born August 25, 1939, to Jeff and Sarah Williams in Waco, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Williams of Brownwood; three older sisters, Dottie Farris and Joyce Ewing of Waco, Ann Bales and her husband Norma of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. Robert had two step-children, Chris Ezra and Rhonda Ezra of Brownwood; he is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a graduate of Midway High School in Waco and Baylor University.

Robert’s professional career spanned all areas of healthcare; from a surgical nurse, to a lab technician, hospital administration, and software development. Robert was a key member of the leadership that started Brownwood Regional Hospital. Robert founded Interflex Management Systems in San Antonio in 1979, which became the leading providing of software and services for rural hospitals throughout Texas. At the time of his death he was employed at PDX Inc., a pharmacy software company based in Fort Worth, Texas.
