Robert Lewis Harris, age 83, of Brownwood, formerly of Ft. Stockton passed away Thursday, March 15, 2012 in Brownwood. Funeral services will be held Sunday March 18, 2012 at 2:00pm in the Davis Morris Funeral Home Chapel in Brownwood, with burial to follow in Big Valley Cemetery in Mills County under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, March 17, 2012, from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
Robert is survived by three daughters; Ramona Harris of Brownwood; Roberta Hall and husband Kenneth of Mineola, Tx; and Reba Preston and husband Robert of Ft. Stockton, Tx ; granddaughters, Brandy Preston of Ft. Worth, Tx, Tara Shelby of Sadler, Tx, and Lisa Iccassa of Watagua, Tx; three great grandsons; brothers, Warren Harris, O.L. Harris and wife Verna, and Roy Wayne Harris and wife Deanna; and a sister, Euna V. Marsh; along with many other nieces, nephews and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife Mary Lou Harris; a brother, Vance Harris; and a sister, Leavern Doss.
