Robert Chandler, age 64, of Bangs passed away Sunday, December 20, 2015, at home.
Graveside services for Robert will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 24, 2015, at Bangs Cemetery with Todd King officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Robert was born to Vernon and Irene (Yarbrough) Chandler on May 5, 1951, in Memphis, TN. Robert enjoyed serving the Lord through his ministry and songs.
Robert is survived by his three children, Bryan Chandler of Georgia, Kimberly Hunt of Georgia, and Miranda Chandler and fiancé Tony Cummings of Brownwood; 5 grandchildren including, Grayson Cummings of Brownwood; father, Vernon Chandler of Bangs; brothers, Arnold Chandler and wife Laurie of Georgia and Ron Baldwin and Vickie of Bangs; sisters, Betty Steward of Bangs and Margaret Carter and husband Oscar of Bangs. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members.He was preceded in death by his mother, Irene (Yarbrough) Chandler Richardson; and step-mother, Mary Chandler.
