isomFuneral services for Robert Bradley Isom will be Friday, June 15, 2012 at 10:00 AM at the Heartland Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at the Eureka Cemetery Blanket, Texas. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 PM at the funeral home.

He passed away Wednesday in Brownwood. Robert was born February 22, 1947 to Charley Wright and Ida Mae Isom in San Saba, Texas. Robert was known to everyone as “B”. He was the oldest child in the Isom clan and helped to teach all the kids about growing up. He may have seemed rough and tough, but he was always there to help out giving rides to practice, helping everyone move to a new house, watching kids, he was there when needed. He taught us how to shoot, see stuff in the stars, dip snuff, and grow tomatoes.

He was a true renaissance man. He loved to read, cook Bar-B-Q, sell peaches at the Farmers Market, he loved to learn, and he loved life. He lived the life he loved.
Robert is preceded in death by his father, mother and sisters Teresa and Elizabeth. He is survived by brothers; Charley, John, James, Willie, Ronald, Dallas, Harold, and sisters, Alpha, and Lucy, as well as several nieces and nephews.
