Funeral Services for Rita Cantu Aguirre, age 65, of Brownwood, Texas will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Heartland Funeral in Early. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home. Mrs. Aguirre passed away Thursday, September 27, 2018 at her residence.
Rita was born on April 24, 1953 in San Saba, Texas to Balerino and Rosa Henry Cantu. She married David Aguirre in Brownwood and was a homemaker.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her loving husband David Aguirre; sons Kevin Kole Cantu and Fernando Martinez Jr; three grandchildren Arielle , Kylen and Kaydon Cantu; her brothers Valerino Cantu, Ireno Cantu, Bobby Cantu, Steve Cantu, Elton Cantu and Eddie Cantu; two sisters Rosemary Welle and Susie Flores and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Larry Cantu and Olidio Cantu and by a sister LaLena Gomez.
