Rising Star has a new digital sign coming soon thanks to First Financial Bank, FTSI, FMC Technologies, The Rising Star EDC and the Rising Star ISD Education Foundation. The project is led by Sarah Childers, Dr. Max Thompson, Sarah Allgood and Dr. Jim Carpenter.
The Rising Star ISD Education Foundation would like to publicly express their gratitude to the donating businesses for making the acquisition of this new sign possible.
The sign will be used to inform the community of news and events going on in town. The sign will be located by the tennis courts at the high school and is expected to be installed by the start of the 2012-2013 school year.
