Memorial services for Ricky Gonzales, age 51, of Brownwood will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, at Netherton Funeral Home & Cremations. Mr. Gonzales passed away Sunday, October 24, 2010 at a local nursing home.
Ricky was born January 17, 1959 in San Angelo, Texas. He had been a resident of Brownwood for the past two years, having moved from Alabama. Ricky was a custodial worker and a member of The Worship Center.
Survivors include his fiancée, Sheila Johnson, of Alabama; step-father and wife, Jack and Olga Coney of Santa Anna; brothers, Christoval Gonzales of San Angelo and Danell Chavez Gonazales of Ft. Worth; sisters, Teresa Cano of California, Laura Ontiveros of Brownwood and Peggy Valles of Kansas; special aunt, Amelia Gonzales; two uncles; a number of nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edna Chavez and father, Christopher Gonzales.
