Graveside Services for Richard R. Hennessey, Jr., age 62, of Brownwood will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 9, 2009 at Macedonia-Weedon Cemetery at Lake Brownwood, with Chaplain Dick Williams officiating, interment to follow under the direction of Davis Morris Funeral Home. Mr. Hennessey passed away Friday evening at a local nursing home.
Richard was born in Dallas, Texas on October 14, 1947 the son of Richard Hennessey Sr. and Georgia (Davis) Hennessey. He worked as a mechanic in Dallas before moving to Brownwood several years ago.
Richard is survived by his brother Stanley Hennessey of Brownwood; a niece, Lisa Beach; three aunts, Jean Treadaway of Brownwood, Virginia B. Evans of Brownwood, and Latrell Phillips of Sealy, Tx; and a cousin, Jeff Harrell of Brownwood.
He was preceded in death by his parents Richard and Georgia Hennessey and a sister, Linda Miller.
