Graveside services for Richard Brinson, 64, of Coleman will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 5, 2015, in Bangs Cemetery.
Richard Lee Brinson was born January 27, 1951 in Brownwood, Texas, to William Frank and Edith (Ramsey) Brinson. First and foremost, Richard loved the Lord with all his heart, his Christian faith was the center point of his life. Richard had a true servant’s heart; he volunteered at the local state school as a spiritual councilor and enjoyed assisting elderly friends and family when the need arose. Richard was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend and he will be dearly missed by those who knew him and loved him.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Bill Brinson; infant brother, Bobby D. Brinson; his sister, Carol Smith and his nephew, Eddie Jowers.
Richard is survived by his brother Randall Brinson and wife Sharron; his sister, Jean Jowers and husband Bobby; a brother-in-law, Kenneth Smith; and nieces and nephews, Robby Jowers, Laura Dibrell, Miranda Carlson, Risa Pardue, and Melinda Dawson.
