An added event to this years Brownwood Reunion Celebration was the Honor A Hero Children’s Parade held late Saturday morning.
This event had children to march in a parade to honor a hero in their life. Many participants had dads serving in the military. Some kids simply wanted to honor their parents as their hero.
The route ran down Carnegie through the festival and was lead by drum line.
Each participant and their hero were given an American flag to carry in the parade. Kids were encouraged to wear red, white, and blue.
