The Brownwood Reunion Celebration’s Classic Car Show came to a close on Sunday and announced winners of the competition. The show featured about 50 classic vehicles and was seen by thousands of people during the Reunion weekend inside the Brownwood Coliseum.
Local car club the Heartland Cruisers put the show together, all without charging admission fees to attendees or contestants.
This year organizers gave away six awards including Best of Show, four Outstanding Entry awards, and a Club Choice award on Sunday. The first five awards were determined by votes cast from attendees who visited the show over the weekend. Organizers said that about 6000 ballots were cast during the voting. The Heartland Cruisers selected the Club Choice award.
The Best of Show award went to Donald Allgood from Brownwood for his 2008 Challenger with custom paint job (pictured at top).
Outstanding entries were Feltz Terrill of Deleon for his 1941 Packard, George Moore for his 1978 Trans-Am, Domingo Perez of Brownwood for this 1966 Cobra and Ricky Brooks for his custom bike.
Kadie Knox was selected as Club Choice for her Junior Dragster.
