The Brownwood Reunion Celebration’s Classic Car Show came to a close on Sunday and announced winners of the competition.  The show featured about 50 classic vehicles and was seen by thousands of people during the Reunion weekend inside the Brownwood Coliseum.

Local car club, the Heartland Cruisers, put the show together each year, all without charging admission fees to attendees or contestants.

This year, organizers gave away six awards including People’s Choice, three Outstanding Entry awards, Longest Distance and Club Choice on Sunday.  The first four awards were determined by votes cast from attendees who visited the show over the weekend.

The People’s Choice award went to James Ray Scott from Brownwood for his 1969 Camaro – Pictured at top.

Outstanding entries were H.D Jones from Brownwood for his 1937 Ford, Mark Crouch from Pottsville for his 1967 Chevelle, and Owen Smedley from Abilene for his 1961 Chevy Wagon.

Jeromie Baugh of Clyde was selected as Club Choice for his 1934 Chevy.

Sara Bailey received the “Longest Distance” award for bringing her 2010 white Camaro from El Paso.
