On Tuesday morning, approximately 6:58am, a Brown County Sheriff’s Deputy was called to the scene of a suspicious vehicle on CR 367. According to Sheriff’s reports, a red Crown Victoria was parked in the middle of the road with the driver slumped over the steering wheel asleep.
The report noted that the driver, identified as 19-year-old Jordan Noel Doucette of Early, woke when the deputy knocked on the window to question him. Reports further indicated that Doucette had trouble getting his wallet out of his back pocket and when stepping out of the vehicle, an Early Police officer noted saw a glass methamphetamine smoking pipe.
In the report, it was noted that investigators from the Sheriff’s Office tested the residue found in the pipe at the scene, which was found to be positive for methamphetamine.
Doucette was then arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG1<1g according to the report.
