Rena Moreland, age 73, of Ft. Worth , formerly of Brownwood , passed away Saturday October 23, 2010 in Ft. Worth . Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday October 26, 2010 at 2:00pm at the Blaylock Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park .
Rena was born June 24, 1937 in Brownwood . She was a member of Ave. D Baptist Church, a Pink Lady for the hospital auxiliary, and a member of Rebecca’s Lodge.
She is survived by her daughter Robin Moreland and partner Charlotte Carter of Ft. Worth, her brothers Emil McEwin and wife Sylvia of Nacoma and Jerry McEwin and wife Gay of Brownwood; sisters Patsy Ratliff and husband Ben of Robert Lee, Joyce Rogers and husband Mickey of Spur, Kate Edwards and husband Jim of Hamilton and Susie Gilby of San Angelo; she is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.She is preceded in death by her husband James Moreland, brothers Robert McEwin and Bubba McEwin and her parents.
