Across the United States, Project Graduation is an annual event to help graduating seniors celebrate their special night in a safe alcohol and drug free environment. Parents and students work hard all year long raising money to fund this special night and Big Country Ford wants to help make this night memorable for our local students at Bangs, Brownwood, Early, May and Zephyr.
Big Country Ford is bringing Ford Motor Company’s Drive 4 UR School program to the Brownwood community in an effort to raise up to $6000 for these area schools. For every person who takes the wheel and test-drives a new ford vehicle at Commerce Square on October 5th, Big Country Ford and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 for the school of your choice. The funds will go to help fund project graduation.
“We know funding for our school programs is hard to come by, and we want to do our part to help make sure the programs remain available” said Thomas Scull, General Manager at Big Country Ford. “We are excited to raise money for our area seniors”.
The event, which will be held from 9 am to 4 pm, will feature many vehicles from Ford’s impressive line-up. “Whether you are looking to test out our fuel efficiency vehicles, like the Fusion or Focus, or are more interested in the horsepower like the F150 Eco Boost, we will be able to put you behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle,” said Scull. Dealership staff on site will be able to assist with all Ford vehicles and provide additional information about each vehicle available for test drive.
Since the start of Ford’s Drive 4UR School program in 2007, more than $16 million in donations have been generated for high schools nationwide. To participate in this exciting event and get behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle, please visit Commerce Square between 9 am and 4 pm on October 5th. Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver’s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. All test-drives will last approximately 7-10 minutes.
