Registration for the 2011 Texas Youth Football League (TYFL) season continues through August 1, 2011 without late registration fees. Registration forms may be picked up at both Doc’s Drugstore’s and at Weakly-Watson Sporting Goods. The cost is still $65. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted for payment.
For equipment information and to purchase new or used equipment contact Tim Jacobs at Doc’s Drugstore in Brownwood, 325-643-3800. Practice begins August 15 and the first games to be played September 10th.
Texas Youth Football League is a tackle football league for 2 age groups, 3rd/4th grade and 5th/6th grade. Currently teams from Brownwood, Early, Bangs, Comanche, Brady and Mason will take the field this fall.
New for the fall 2011 season, all TYFL head coaches will have completed the National Center for Safety Initiatives background check and will have completed the Tackle Certification Coaches training through USAfootball.com.
