NationalDayofPrayer2010The 59th Annual National Day of Prayer will take place Thursday, May 6, 2010.

The Brownwood service will be held at the Margaret and Stuart Coleman Depot Plaza, 600 Depot St., starting at 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm. Come and unite in prayer and music with millions of Americans in events coast to coast to pray for the President, leaders, emergency responders, and the Military of our country.

The theme for 2010 is “Prayer for Such a Time as This” and is based on the verse from Nahum 1:7 which states: “The LORD is good, a refuge in times of trouble. He cares for those who trust in Him.”

The community is honored to have the HSC & 327 QP, 111th Engineer Battalion and the Texas Army National Guard, who will be deploying to Afghanistan in 2011, posting the colors for the event.
