Heart of Texas Baptist Camp invites the public to the camp Tuesday, December 4th to enjoy their Christmas Dinner Theatre, which features the original performance of the comedy, “Oh Holy What?”
A banquet buffet dinner will be served at 6:30pm after prayer on Tuesday, December 4th at the Heart of Texas Baptist Camp’s Hammons Auditorium. The program will begin shortly after the meal is served. There is a requested minimum donation of $10 per plate.
The comedy “Oh Holy What?,” written and directed by Howard Payne University Assistant Professor of Theatre Nicholas Ewen, is set in ancient Palestine. The storyline is about two hapless thieves struggling to make a not-so-honest living by setting upon travelers passing through the countryside outside the small town of Bethlehem. Times are tough, though, and these two don’t exactly have the intelligence and intrepidity for a successful life of crime. This particular winter, however, their fortunes change in ways they would never have imagined as they unwittingly become a part of the Nativity of Christ.
Please RSVP by Nov. 30 by visiting www.heartoftexascamp.com or call 325-784-5821. All proceeds from the evening will go toward completion of the new Summer Camp Recreation Pavilion. Click here for directions to the camp.
