The 2nd Annual Corks and Caps event is set for Saturday, October 1st from 6 PM – 11 PM in the Depot Plaza in Brownwood.
Corks and Caps will feature tastings of beer and wine from breweries and wineries from across the country. A variety of food trucks will also be on hand offering food and desserts for purchase. A cigar area will be a featured component during this event hosted by The Leaf from Abilene. Attendees can relax and enjoy these great tastes with live music by Ronnie D and the Rockin’ ‘88’s Band (formerly the Crawfish Band).
A new addition to this year’s event will be a margarita tasting. The top 3 winners of Brownwood’s first Margarita Make off, held September 2nd, will be the featured margaritas to taste.Tickets for the event will cost $25 each which will include 10 samples of the beer, wine, and margaritas offered. Non-sample tickets for the concert only will be $10 each. Attendees must be 21 or older to purchase tasting tickets. The first 600 tasters will get their choice of a Corks and Caps commemorative wine glass or a beer pilsner glass. Advance tickets will be available August 15th.
