Howard Payne University will present high-energy Christian rock band Remedy Drive in a free concert February 19, at 8 p.m., in the university’s Mims Auditorium.
The Nashville-based band features David Zach, lead vocals, guitar, and electric piano; Timmy Jones, drums and backing vocals; Corey Horn, bass and backing vocals; and Dave Mohr, guitars and backing vocals. The band’s most recent release is a five-song EP called “Light Makes a Way.”
According to Tyler Sellers, HPU’s director of student activities, students on campus are excited about the approaching concert.
“Remedy Drive has several big songs on the radio,” he said. “We are excited to not only bring them to campus, but to make it a free concert for students and the community.”
