Madeline Reigle of Brownwood and her teammates of a select soccer team, the Austin Texans, are undefeated and are heading to the Western District Championships on December 3 & 4 in Cedar Park Texas. After that, they will travel to compete in the State Tournament on December 12 & 13.
Reigle is a Brownwood High School student athlete and competes with the Texans’ as their starting goalie. The Texans are a Super II select club soccer team based out of Dallas with ties to Manchester United. The team Madeline is on is the Austin Texans a division of the Dallas organization, with the same ties to Manchester United. Their coach is Felix Oskam the former head coach of the women’s soccer team at Texas Tech.
Select soccer teams such as the Austin Texans offer competitive programs designed to develop and prepare players to compete at all levels of competition and teach needed skills to the players to be proactive in the collegiate soccer recruiting and placement process.
Reigle is also a member of the Brownwood Lady Lion Soccer team which is led by Coach Brian Davis. She is also a 2012 National Scouting Report Soccer Prospect, under Jason Espinoza, and is trained by former Howard Payne University goalies Nick Rayburn and Kyle Huesing.
