The Pecan Valley Chapter of the American Red Cross is again offering its annual Learn to Swim program. Participants can register at the local Red Cross office at 600 E. Adams from 9 to 4 during the week.
The final registration day will be Saturday, June 19, from 9 to 4 at the Red Cross office. The lessons are $50 per child and full and partial scholarships are available with proof of income. The sessions will be taught at the Wiggins Pool on Victoria Street until the new Camp Bowie Family Aquatic Center is completed. 45 minute classes will be held at 9, 10, and 11 a.m. and run from Tuesday through Friday.
The three sessions are June 22-July 2; July 6-July 16; and July 20-July 30. Levels I – IV are available during each class. Lessons for Level V and VI will only be taught during the last session and are subject to the availability of the new Aquatic Center.
