manifestKPSM Radio brings BEC Recording artist “Manafest” to Brownwood Saturday December 12th at 6:00 PM at Abundant Life Church.

Chris Greenwood, better known by his stage name, “Manafest” is a Christian rap artist from Toronto, Ontario .

After a skateboarding accident in 1998, Manafest took time to focus on rap and was noticed by Trevor McNevan of the Ontario-based band Thousand Foot Krutch.  This led to his signing with an internationally distributed label, BEC Recordings, and his debut release “Epiphany.”  The album was made primarily of west coast hip-hop with several rapcore outings in the vein of P.O.D. and Linkin Park.  Manifests’ second album, “Glory” used a more purely hip hop style.  On June 24th, 2008 Manafest released his third official album, “Citizens Activ” which went on to become his most successful album to date.

Manafest will be joined by Chronic Frailty and Redemption Cry.  Chronic Frailty is a local Christian rock band and has been playing throughout Texas for the past year and a half.  They are currently in the process of recording and are being looked at by recording labels and various A&R reps.

Redemption Cry hails from the San Angelo area and is a potent mix of “Latin Rock.”  They have a sound all their own and have opened for bands such as Skillet and Third Day.

The concert is dubbed “The Pre Christmas Throwdown.” Admission is only $3 at the door and is sponsored by the following area businesses…
