Raymond “Ray” Buford, age 65, of Arlington, formerly of May passed away Monday, September 12, 2016 at his residence.
Graveside Services for Ray will be held at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, September 18, 2016, at the May Cemetery with Bro. Alan Wallace officiating. Visitation will be held prior to service from 1-2 p.m. at Blaylock Funeral Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Blaylock Funeral Home.
Ray was born on April 17, 1951, to Billie (Gillow) Williams in Odessa. He loved riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and going to Sturgis. Ray loved his family most of all and was a caregiver for them.
Ray is survived by his father, Glenn Williams of Magnolia; children, Jeremiah Buford of Maui, HI, Hayley Thompson of Dallas, Heather Maness and husband Ryan of Fallon, NV, Michael Buford and wife Andi of Aurora, CO; 5 grandchildren and 1 on the way; 1 great-grandchild on the way; and sister, Alta Heine of Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.He was preceded in death by his mother, Billie Williams; and sisters, Betty Mae Merritt and Sue Ricca.
