Ranger College held their December graduation ceremonies Friday night at Coggin Avenue Baptist Church. The commencement program included the graduation of students from Ranger’s registered nursing program administered through the Brown County campus located at Heartland Mall.
Those 20 students graduating from the RN program also participated in the pinning and lamps ceremony and took the Nightingale pledge.
Brownwood Regional Medical Center Chief Nursing Officer Michael Moorhead gave the commencement address to the graduates, telling them that although being a nurse can be difficult, it is a rewarding occupation.
The graduating class expressed their thanks to Brownwood Economic Development Corporation, Brownwood Regional Medical Center, Early Economic Development Corporation, Brown County Hospital Authority, Shannon Medical Center Behavioral Health, Coleman Hospital, MHMR, Encompass Home Health, and Head Start as well as many others for their partnership in making their graduation possible.
