Randy “Wolf” Earl Baskin, 61, a longtime resident of May, TX passed away Friday, March 15th, 2019 in Abilene.

Randy was born November 24th, 1957 to Richard and Mary Baskin in Lamesa, TX.  He worked in the oilfield all around the west Texas area as a young man and brought his skills as a mason to our area for many years.  He loved the mountains and riding his Harley and spending time with his children and grandchildren.  Randy had a big heart and was always there to help someone in need.

Randy is survived by his beloved wife, Cassie Baskin of the family home; 2 sons, Randy E Baskin II and his wife Emily of Lincoln, AK, Samuel Baskin of May, TX; 4 daughters, Casey Roach and husband Justin of Clarksville, TN, Crystal Griffin and husband Bill of Abilene, TX, Roxanne Alaniz and husband Tony of Hamlin, TX, Iashia Barnes of May, TX; 2 brothers, Don Ed Baskin of Cross Plains, TX, Billy Baskin and wife Linda of Rogers, AK; Aunt Annalee Fuller; 14 grandchildren, 1 great grandson and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers, Rick and Dennis Baskin.

The family will be having a “last ride” procession to the grave site in Gorman, TX on Friday, March 22, 2019 at 10:00 AM.  Bikers and friends are invited to meet at Heartland Funeral Home at 9:30 AM and lead the procession to the Elm cemetery in Gorman, TX for a graveside ceremony and burial.  A visitation will be held at Heartland Funeral Home on Thursday, March 21, 2019 from 6 – 8PM.
