After a decidedly warm October, thunderstorms through the weekend have brought cooler temperatures to the Brownwood area.
Heavy showers that caused road closures on Thursday and Friday, continued Sunday morning and afternoon.
Though October saw temperatures often reaching the 90’s, this second week of November promises a break from the heat with highs in the mid 70’s and below according to The Weather Channel’s online forecast.
Thunderstorms are forecasted to continue Monday, November 7th, with rain rolling through central Texas on Thursday and Saturday as well. Low temperatures for the week are forecasted to reach the low 50’s, high 40’s.
