Rafael Gallegos Castaneda 89 of Brownwood, passed away Wednesday, November 6th, 2019 in Brownwood.
A memorial Service will be held Thursday November 14, 2019 at 1:30 pm at Premera Iglesia Bautista Mexicana located at 1600 Melwood Ave. Service will be officiated by Rev. Margarito Barboza
Rafael was born November 6th, 1930 in Villa Union Coahilla Mexico to parents Pascual Castaneda Sr. and Delfina Gallegos Castaneda.During his younger days he worked as a ranch hand and loved ranching. he loved raising horses and dogs, and any type of animals. Rafael Worked at 3M and retired after 20 years.
He was preceded in death by Wife Henrietta Torres Castaneda, brothers Pascual Castaneda Jr., Inosencio Castaneda, sisters; Josefa Colica, Micaela Hernandez, Carmen Arriaga, Delfina Zamora,
Left to cherish his memories are daughter Elda Castaneda, son Rafael Castaneda Jr. both of Mexico, grandaughter Hailey Castaneda Gongora and husband Mark Gongora Jr. and their children Trey and Emma Gongora, sister Paula Sanchez brother Guadalupe Castaneda, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.
