Monday was the final day for prospective candidates to file for their places in both the Republican and Democratic Primary elections taking place on March 2nd and several contested races are heating up with the Republicans in Brown County.
Since the Democratic candidates run unopposed in the primary, the winner of each Republican race will face off against a Democrat for County Judge, County Commissioner Precinct 2, Justice of the Peace Precinct 3, and Justice of the Peace Precinct 4 in the November general election.
