Mainlanes of Truman Harlow Overpass in Brownwood will not be affected

BROWNWOOD – A portion of the northbound frontage road of US 377/Main Street at the Truman Harlow Overpass in Brownwood is scheduled to be closed Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 23-24 as crews with Texas Rock Crusher Railway perform railroad crossing maintenance.

 

During the closure, northbound motorists will be able to access Carnegie Street via Fisk Street. This short detour should result in only minor, if any, traffic delays.

Traffic on the mainlanes of Main Street on the Truman Harlow Overpass, as well as traffic on the southbound frontage road, will not be affected.

All lanes are scheduled to be reopened to traffic by Monday, Sept. 25.

TxDOT’s Brownwood District includes Brown, Coleman, Comanche, Eastland, Lampasas, McCulloch, Mills, San Saba and Stephens counties.
