If you have an interest in learning more about pond (stock tank) management then mark your calendars for Tuesday evening May 10, 2011. That is the date of a Pond Management program which is being conducted by the Brown County Extension Office. This will be an on-site program.
Dr. Michael Masser, Extension Fisheries Specialist from Texas A&M will provide the training. Topics will include management of aquatic weeds, fish stocking, water quality, and pond design.
This program is open to anyone interested. There will be a $10 registration fee payable at the beginning of the program on May 10, 2011.
Program participants should meet at the Zephyr Football Complex located on HWY 183/84 just north of Zephyr. At 6:00pm we will travel to the program site.
