Brownwood Police are investigating a pair of weekend burglaries at two local car dealerships. Shortly after 8:00am Saturday, Brownwood Police were called to the two local auto dealership offices which were burglarized.
Big Country Ford and Bruner Toyota employees each arrived at work on Saturday morning to find their places of business had been broken into overnight.
According to police, Big Country Ford was reported to have been entered by force, a safe had been broken into, and an undetermined amount of money was taken.
Bruner was more fortunate as nothing was found to be taken according to Assistant Chief James Fuller. Fuller also said that details of the break-ins were not being released as the burglaries are under investigation, but he indicated that investigators feel the two incidences are related.
