Brownwood Police continue to investigate the burglary of The Fish Bowl Pet Store, in downtown Brownwood.
According to the report, the business was broken into during the overnight hours on Sunday, February 28th. The owners arrived at 9:30 a.m. Monday to open the business and found a door had been forcefully entered, the report states. One of the owners was the last authrorized person at the business and had left approximately 9:30 p.m. on Sunday.
Taken during the burglary were nine Pythons of different varieties, a Boa Constrictor, three rabbits, 20 mice, tanks, cages and other equipment valued at more than $3200, police stated. No electronics or cash was taken from the business, the report states.
