Friday, September 1st

*9:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to an apartment in north Brownwood in reference to a theft of a laptop computer. Suspects were named and a report was generated.

*11:08 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to an apartment in north Brownwood to assist CPS. This call resulted in the arrest of Jacobo Garcia for Possession of a Controlled Substance PG 3 <28 grams and for 3 outstanding warrants out of the Brownwood Municipal Court.

*1:15 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to a North Brownwood address in reference to a theft. Upon my arrival, officers met with the complainant who advised that they had stopped a female for theft. The complainant advised me that on behalf of the business, he wished to pursue charges.

*4:19 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1000 block of W. Commerce Street in reference to a theft.

*6:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1200 block of Austin Avenue in reference to a civil matter. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

Saturday, September 2nd

*1:05 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Campa Drive in reference to a scam. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with the complainant in regards to the scam.

*4:44 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1800 block of Avenue C in an attempt to locate a wanted subject. This call resulted in a citation for drug paraphernalia being issued to a subject.

Sunday, September 3rd

*2:40 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 400 block of W. Commerce Street for a domestic disturbance. Upon arriving, officers spoke with the complainant who stated her boyfriend assaulted her and then took off. A report was generated and investigation continues.

*6:19 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive in reference to an assault. Officers arrived on scene and spoke with involved parties.

*9:00 a.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 3900 block of Oakdale in reference to a burglary of a vehicle.

*2:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of 3rd Street in reference to suspicious activity. Investigation showed a burglary of a habitation had occurred. The victim was located and identified.

*9:00 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 4200 block of Austin Avenue in reference to a domestic disturbance. A report was taken to be passed on for further investigation.

Monday, September 4th

*4:00 a.m. Brownwood Police checked on a suspicious vehicle in the 500 block of W. Commerce. Steven Quintana was taken in to custody for Evading in a Vehicle and Minor DUI

*8:00 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 700 block of Bond Street in reference to a disturbance in progress. During the investigation, Gerardo Mares was arrested for Assault Causing Bodily Injury – Family Violence.

*9:15 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1500 block of Vine Street in regards to a unwanted person call. David Griffin was arrested for Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon family violence.
