On Saturday, September 23rd, a Brownwood Police Officer responded to Walmart in reference to a subject being intoxicated in the store. Employees advised a 67 year old white male riding on an electric scooter was drinking a beer and eating sausage and cheese while in the store. Employees wanted to have the subject issued a criminal trespass warning and removed from the property. The man was issued a criminal trespass warning and also arrested for public intoxication, a class C misdemeanor.

Friday, September 22nd

*12:39 p.m. Brownwood Police met with a complainant at the Law Enforcement Center regarding a burglary of a vehicle. The complainant advised someone had removed items from her vehicle while she was loading groceries into the back seat.

*1:37 p.m. Brownwood Police were patrolling in the 1400 block of 12th Street when they initiated a traffic stop for failing to signal intent to turn within 100 feet at the intersection. During the course of this stop, narcotics were reportedly found in the vehicle. Jeffrey Daniel Schott was arrested for Possession of Marijuana<2OZ in a Drug Free Zone.

*6:00 p.m. Brownwood Police Officers responded to the 1500 block of 2nd Street in regards to a domestic disturbance call. Farrah Smith was arrested for assault causes bodily injury family violence.

*8:54 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2300 block of Stephen F. Austin in reference to a hit and run incident.

*9:59 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched for a reported citizen’s dispute near the 500 block of Main Street. Officers spoke with witnesses and gathered information for an assault report.

*10:43 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of Melwood in reference to domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, officers arrested Mario Perez for public intoxication and criminal mischief.

*11:19 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 2600 block of Crockett Drive in reference to an assault.

 

 

Saturday, September 23rd

*6:19 a.m. Brownwood Police were advised by communications of a possible reckless driver coming into Brownwood from Bangs via US 67. A traffic stop was conducted for failing to maintain a single lane. Field sobriety tests were conducted and Travis Charles Tuckness was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated.

*3:40 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 2500 block of Southside Drive in reference to an assault.

*8:05 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to 302 N. Main St., Kroger in reference to an assault. The victim was sitting on a bench out front when a female and a male assaulted the victim. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers arrival. Investigation is still on going.

Sunday, September 24th

*1:13 a.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 1600 block of 1st in reference to domestic disturbance. The suspect, identified as Casey Durant, had fled the scene prior to officers arrival. According to the report, Durant had a protective order for the address in which the domestic disturbance took place. A warrant for his arrest on violation of protective order will be sought.

*1:22 p.m. Brownwood Police were dispatched to the 800 block of Avenue G in reference to a domestic disturbance.

*9:03 p.m. Brownwood Police responded to the 3800 block of 4th Street in reference to trespassing.

Monday, September 25th

*1:07 a.m. Brownwood Police investigated a family disturbance that occurred in the 1300 block of 11th Street.
